Nancy A. Graney, 83, died on Saturday November 8, 2014 surrounded by her family at Morristown Memorial Hospital in Morristown, New Jersey. She was born in Scranton, PA to parents Clarence and Helen Meehan Allison and grew up in Mendham, NJ before moving to the Indian Lake section of Denville in 1960. She had graduated from Berkley Business School as an Executive Secretary and worked for the president of the Mennen Corp. in Morristown, NJ. Nancy loved growing up in the small town Mendham and later moving to the Indian Lake section of Denville felt very much the same. She and her husband John D. became very active members of the Indian Lake Community Club as did their children with the many events the lake offered. She loved cooking and Christmas and always put her family first. (I would elaborate in this paragraph) Her Husband John D. Graney died on May 20, 2000. Nancy was also predeceased by her parents as well as a brother Barrett Allison and a sister Barbara Allison. She is survived by her children David & Elizabeth Graney of Hicksville, LI, Allison & Kevin Hartnett of York, PA, Kevin & Karen Graney of Denville, Thomas & Marisa Graney of Randolph and Kathleen & Dave Berrier of Denville She also leaves behind her fifteen grandchildren; Brian Graney, Thomas Graney, Brendan Graney, Megan & Rich Uliana and their children Ava, Mia and Ali, Caitlin & Joe Rodenbeck, Abby Hartnett, Kerry Hartnett, Alexis Hartnett, Natalie Nilsen, Lance Cpl. Patrick Graney, Nicholas Graney, Tyler Graney, Dylan Berrier, Danielle Berrier and Brody Berrier, and a brother Paul Allison of Boonton, NJ. Funeral from the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave. Denville, NJ on Wed. Nov 12, 2014 at 11:00 AM for a 1:00 PM Mass of Christian Burial Service at St. Mary’s Church in Denville, NJ.
