Walter A. Cisco passed away at Morristown Medical Center on October 28, 2014.
He was 64 years old.
Born in Newark, he grew up in Irvington, NJ. After serving four years in the U.S. Air Force, he returned to Irvington before moving to Parsippany for 16 years and then to Mount Tabor, NJ where he lived for the last 12 years.
Walter worked for 20 years at Twin County Grocers in Edison as a computer programmer before working for Dun & Bradstreet in Parsippany until he retired in 2006.
He was Vice Commander of the Denville American Legion Post #390, as well as an Eagle Scout.
He was an avid Jets and Yankees fan and loved playing cards with his friends, especially Texas Hold'em.
Walter is survived by his beloved wife of 28 years, Sandra Gayle (King) Cisco, and his loving son Stephen Cisco both of Mount Tabor. He is also survived by his brothers John Cisco of Denville, and Larry Cisco of Chester, NJ as well as many nephews.
Funeral services will take place on Monday November 3, 2014 at 10AM at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ 07834. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-5PM.
