Dennis George, 61 of Denville, passed away suddenly on Saturday, Sept. 27th. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 1st at 10 am at St. Mary's Church, Denville. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 30th from 4-8 pm at the Norman Dean Home For Services, 16 Righter Ave., Denville. Dennis grew up in Bloomfield and Montville, graduating from Boonton High in 1971. Soon after, he married his high school sweetheart Nancy Johnson. He joined his father Charles in the family business, Biltrite Tool and Die Inc., which is still in operation today, along with the help of his son Dennis Jr.
Dennis was an avid hunter, fisherman and enjoyed going to Wall Stadium. When he wasn't at work or home, he could be found at his favorite place, the family shore house in Point Pleasant Beach. Above all, he loved spending time with his family; especially his five grandchildren.
Predeceased by his father Charles; he is survived by his wife Nancy of 42 years; children Tracy Walsh and her husband Michael and Dennis and his wife Erin; his adoring grandchildren Chelsea, Charlie and Colby Walsh and Dennis and Brian George; mother Janette George; sister Sharon Dwyer (James) and many more loving relatives and friends.
