Obituary of Helena S Theodorsen

Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Avenue Denville, New Jersey 07834 (973) 627-1880 Helena S. Theodorsen, 92, died on Friday Oct. 5, 2012 at St. Clare’s Hospital in Denville, NJ. She was born in Flekkefjord, Norway, and came to the US in 1939 settling in Brooklyn, NY later moving to Lake Telemark section of Rockaway, NJ in 1953. In 1977 she and her husband Fred moved to Fla. Following his death she moved back to Lake Telemark. Helena worked in the accounting dept. of Warner Chilcott in Morris Plains until her retirement. She had been an active member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Telemark, and she had also been a member of the Eastern Star, Pearl Chapter in Dover, NJ. Her husband Fred died in 2004 and her daughter Linda Weiler died in 2007. She is survived by her daughter Marianne and William Matyola of Lake Telemark, as well as her six grandchildren; Lisa & Tim Macrae, Eric and Astrid Weiler, Dawn and Frank DeWitt, Jennifer and JR Storer, Rebecca and John Davoren and Krista and Rob McKernan, and fifteen great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Rev. Rolf E. Larsen of New Hyde Park, LI, NY, and her sister Oddfrid Tokle of Lake Telemark. Funeral services will be held on Monday Oct. 8, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church 508 Green Pond Rd. Rockaway, NJ 07866.
