Not only was my Mom the very best Mother anyone could have ever asked for, but she was my best girlfriend too. I called my Mom nearly everyday about anything and everything. She loved my husband, Bill, like her own son. She taught Peri and Wyatt how to snowboard and we loved going skiing with her every winter. Every summer we went camping and to Mountain Creek water park. She just loved spending time with her family. Mom was such a big part of our lives and the hole that is in my heart right now can never filled. We all love you so much, Mom, and feel so lucky to have had you in our lives. We will miss you terribly, but we have no shortage of wonderful memories to keep us smiling for a lifetime. I love you.

I am so heartbroken over the loss of my mom. I don't think I will ever know anyone who has been so selfless and devoted to her family. We meant the world to her as she did to us.
She has always been my biggest fan through my best and at my worst. While I am sure I have disappointed her more than a few times, she was always there for me and never let me down once.
She said last week that she lived a wonderful life and has no regrets. I am honored to be a part of her life and proud to call her my mom and my friend.
I love you mom, Jim

Juanita was a special person in our family. Always smiling, looking at the good side of things, she was a super cook and those Grandkids meant more than any words could describe. They will miss her so much but she'll be looking down on them I'm sure. Nita & I got into some good discussions about our Quilting, we were going to challenge each other to see who could get this pattern made first, I rushed along only to find out later she never even got hers cut out. But I know she made many beautiful ones. Now when I look at my Quilt i'll always think of her , she was a great sister-in-law so rest in peace Nita.

My deepest sympathy to Neil and family. "Winnie" not sure I spelled it right was a jolly person. She was always smiling and laughing. I remember when I first started with the Rockaway Township Bus Drivers, she was a mentor to me. I learned a lot from her and missed her when she retired. She would come visit the drivers for lunch, or just to chat; sometimes to take walks with us. I will always have fond memories of her, especially her twinkly eyes and smile. She will be greatly missed by family and friends .

I met Juanita 14 yrs ago at work, she took me aside right away and showed me the ropes of bus driving and it time sheets. We had quite a few lunches together and her smile was contagious. When I was very sick she was at my house twice a week with food and homemade goodies for my kids for weeks! Her blue eyes sparkled and her smile generated happy feelings. I loved her and she will be missed. to Neil and your children my deepest heartfelt sympathies~

Juanita’s loving spirit shined so bright. Our family was so fortunate to have her as a friend and neighbor. She watched our boys grow up and it was always a special day when she drove them home from school. She will be missed, but her spirit is with us always. Our thoughts and prayers are with Neil and the family. Love the Ryan family.

There is a rumor that is becoming popular. It is the theme of recently released Country music songs and the subject of hour long talk shows. It is that “you can’t make old friends.” I don’t believe that for a second. Quite frankly, I know that it isn’t true. The friendship that Juanita and I had proved that there is no truth to the statement.
Juanita and I didn’t known each other for what some would consider a long time, but I can assure you we were “old” friends. Juanita and I were extremely comfortable with each other, our relationship and our ability to confide in one another that normally only comes after years of sharing experiences. She was my friend.
It was the specialness of Juanita’s spirit that allowed such a bond to form. I am sure I wasn’t her only “new old friend”. I am sure that her explosive laugh, happy eyes and open heart turned everyone in her presence into an immediate buddy, chum or pal.
Juanita was an inspiration. She re-ignited and empowered me, and plenty others, with her Weight Watcher’s goals, recent physical fitness persistence and commitment to be on the slopes.
Juanita, you are, and were incredible.
So, I hope everyone will learn a few things. Things that Juanita helped teach me. First is to “Stand Up”, which is a phrase she kept yelling at her grandkids as they were being taught to snowboard. Their instructor needed to send her away but not before realizing that she wanted those around her to succeed. She wanted to share her love of the slopes with those she cherished. She would cheer long and loud for personal successes. She would Stand Up for you to the bitter end and in the bitter cold. Second, is to never stop setting and striving for the things that are important to you. A week at the Craigmeur Ski lodge and on the slopes of VT was a huge dream that came true for her. I kinda get that ya know, and I think many of you do too. And, the third lesson, which some of you may take offense to, is that Country music will lie to you. You can make old friends. Juanita, your laughter will never go silent and our friendship will never cease.
Your friend,
Amy
