Dorothy H. Irwin, 85, passed away on Saturday September 29, 2012.
Dorothy was born in Newark, NJ and lived in West Orange, NJ before moving to Denville, NJ in 1948. She was a 1944 graduate of West Orange High School and the Drake Business School and attended the Wang Computer School. Dorothy was an executive secretary for three successive CEO’s at Warner Lambert Co. in Morris Plains, and was a Supervisor of two Park-Davis Word Processing Centers. Upon her retirement she served for 21 years on the advisory Board of Retirees at Warner Lambert.
Dorothy is survived by her goddaughter, Linda Persiko of Arlington, VA and her godson, The Rev. Stephen Shepherd of Springfield, VA.
Relatives and friends will be received on Thursday October 4th from 2-4 and 7-9pm at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ (please visit www.normandean.com and light a candle in memory of Dorothy), and may attend funeral services at the funeral home on Friday October 5th at 10am. The interment services at Restland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations to, ARC/ Morris County Chapter.
