Herbert Trillich, 77, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 3rd. Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th from 2-5 pm at the Norman Dean Home For Services, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville. A Funeral service will begin at 4:30 with military honors. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in his memory to the good work of the Dover First Aid Squad. 37 North Sussex St. Dover NJ 07801. Born in Brooklyn to the late Charles and Helen, Herb was one of three children. He grew up in Queens, NY and Green Pond, NJ. He has resided in Denville, Wharton and Rockaway for over 30 years. After his schooling, he enlisted into the US Air Force, where he proudly served his country from 1954-1958, as a US Staff Sergeant. Upon his return the states, he began his career as a skilled machinist, eventually starting his own business, Trillich Machine. The company was in operation for over 30 years, until Herb's retirement. Surviving are his children Marie Trillich-Hurtado of Dover, Kenneth Trillich of Florida, and Herbert and his wife Elaine of Denville; his dear grandchildren William Trillich (Denville), Jessica Lowe (Witchita, KS) and Wyatt Trillich (Denville); five great grandchildren and one great great grandson; brother Charles Trillich and his wife Barbara of Port Murray and sister Ruth Madpak of Mt. Arlington.
