Wayne Douglas Leatherberry - 85 4/26/1929 – 6/15/2014 Wayne Leatherberry peacefully passed away at home. Wayne who was born in Easton, PA lived in West Caldwell prior to spending the majority of his life in Denville. Wayne was a store manager with Acme Markets prior to a long and successful career selling disposable paper and packaging products while working for Ringel Brothers, Jersey Paper Company and Bunzl NJ. Wayne enjoyed many years in scouting and was a beloved Scout Master with the Boy Scouts in West Caldwell. He enjoyed spending time with his family and doing lots of projects around his home. Wayne was a lifelong member of the Church of The Saviour, Denville where he served many years as a Lay Eucharistic Minister and on various leadership committees. Wayne was predeceased by brothers Jerry Beatty and Stanford Leatherberry and sister Jane Lambert. Wayne is survived by sister Nancy Saulter (Leatherberry), his loving wife of 65 years, Delores (Sample), his daughters Candy Wagoner of Denville; Cathy Lubey of Newton and Cindy Leatherberry of Marlboro, MA and their spouses Rich, Craig and Kristin Comment. Wayne is also survived by three grandchildren – Diana Wagoner of Rockaway, Michael Wagoner of Boonton Twp. and Caitlin Lubey of Newton along with many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held on Thur. June 19, 2014 at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Saviour 155 Morris Ave. Denville, NJ.
