Dear Mr. Lockwood and family,
My mom, Kathy Covert, is a little technologically challenged so I'm lighting this candle on behalf of her and all of our family. We are all very sorry for your loss. I always admired Maureen for her strength. After "retiring" from a long nursing career and raising a large family, she took on the job of front desk receptionist at the dental office. It is not a cushy job! I am now that age and just want to put my feet up. Not Maureen. I light a candle to her hard working and caring spirit. It was a pleasure to work and know her!

All the Lockwoods,
Almost 45 years ago a chance encounter with a Baseball bat brought the McElroys and the Lockwoods together. Many parties,dinners weddings and grandchildren later the emotions run the gamet. Joe Lloyd and Ruth I am sure greeted Mauren with a glass of wine and a beach chair to celebrate her arrrival in heaven. I can only imagine the debates on who has the best grandchildren. And you know that Maureen wont give up until Joe says you know Maureen I am tired of arguing you win!!! It was always like we had 3 sets of parents. I know I still think about the fall trips to Island Beach. Memories are the blessing of life. And you all have so many great ones to keep you going the next few days. Sorry I am not there to celebrete with you. Hugs to Ron Ronnie, Laurie,Billy,Colleen and Kevin, all the spouse's and grandchildren.

Mothers are amazing people, and your mother was a great example. She was responsible for my mother getting to the hospital timely when she had me, and nursed many of my cuts and bruises through the years. We will miss her.
