Obituary of Arthur Michael O'Boyle

Arthur Michael O'Boyle passed away at CareOne in Parsippany, NJ, on March 30, 2014, after a hospital stay.
He was 80 years old.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, he lived in the Indian Lake section of Denville, NJ, for the last 46 years.
In Brooklyn, his friends called him Archie, and he delivered the Brooklyn Eagle. Arthur graduated from the Jesuit-run Brooklyn Prep.
Arthur served in the United States Air Force in the Korean War-era, before working as a Federal civilian employee for the United States Army at Fort Monmouth and then Picatinny Arsenal (ARADCOM) and then back at Fort Monmouth (CECOM), for a total of 31 years before retiring in 1988. In the 1990s, he was a senior technical manual writer-editor for Venntronix Corporation, Eatontown, NJ.
In the twenty-first century, Arthur worked for 8 years for Sensory Spectrum in New Providence, NJ, as a personal care product panelist.
In 1980, Arthur was Denville Little League coach for Neil's New Yorker (with manager Ronald DeRitter), and the team won the Minor League championship. In 1981, Arthur was Denville Little League coach for Burger King (with manager Thomas Stutz).
He was predeceased by his parents, Maurice and Amanda (Davis) O'Boyle, as well as by his four siblings: Thomas, in 1986; James, in 1993; Maurice "Buddy," in 1997; and Elizabeth "Betty" Dono, in 2009.
Arthur is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Sally Jean (Smith) O'Boyle, and by his loving son, Jeffrey Michael O'Boyle, both of Denville, NJ. He is also survived by his aunt, Margaret O'Boyle, of New Jersey, and by sister-in-law Regina O'Boyle, of Washington state, and by sister-in-law Charlotte (Smith) Anechiarico, of Florida -- and by many loved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was very thankful to have such caring neighbors in Indian Lake.
