John "Jack" S. Scott, 91, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 29th with his children by his side. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 4th at 10 am at Saint Catherine of Sienna Church, Mountain Lakes, NJ. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. Jack was born in Nova Scotia to the late Maurice and Leta. As a young man, he immigrated to the US and met Victoria Anzano. The couple married and raised their family in Boonton. Jack owned and operated his own type setting business for over 40 years. He was an exceptional guitar player and enjoyed golfing very much, but above all, he loved spending time with his family; especially his grandchildren.
Predeceased by his wife Vickie of 63 years this past October, he is survived by his children Mary Ann Carroll (Kip), Matthew J. Scott , Kathleen A. Scott (Doug Guido), Jeffrey J. Scott (Mary Ann), and Suzanne McCormick (Jeff Masessa); his nine adoring grandchildren Meredith Guidice (Joseph), Katie Rudnik, Jake, Maggie, Jessica, Jason and Jamie Scott and Connor and Kiernan McCormick; his two great granddaughters Ava and Giuliana Giudice; his sister Virginia Hachette; brothers Gerald and Patrick Scott; and many more loving relatives and friends.
