Dorothy G. Johnson, 85, passed away on Thursday March 6, 2014 at Morristown Medical Center, Morristown, NJ surrounded by her family.
Dorothy was born in Newark. She was a resident of Bloomfield, Caldwell and for the last 17 years Barnegat, NJ. Dorothy was a homemaker.
Dorothy was predeceased by her great grandson, Andrew Martinez.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Robert Johnson, step-sister Zoe Bellucci and her husband George, her children, Kathleen "Kathy" Madden, Robert Johnson, and Karen Johanson and her husband John. Dorothy was the proud Grandmother of Kimberly Neary and her husband Grant, Meghan Martinez and her husband Alex, Michael Madden, Kyle and Kerry Johnson, Chris and Amy Johanson, and Kim Ratner. Also, Great-Grandmother to Matthew Martinez, Finley and Jack Neary.
Funeral services will be held at the Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ www.normandean.com, (please share a memory of Dorothy on website). Relatives and friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday, March 10th from 4-8pm. Funeral service will be held Tuesday March 11th at 11am at the funeral home. Committal service to be at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield, NJ.
