Obituary of Jane Corley

Jane Madeline Corley, of Denville, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on Saturday, August 26, 2017. She was 85 years young.

Born in Analomink, PA to the late John and Ethel Howell, she was one of eleven. Jane and her twin sister, Joan Wells, shared a very special bond and were best friends. They were raised in Succasunna, NJ along with their siblings.

Jane was a proud and dedicated member of the Bible Fellowship Church in Denville, and most recently, The Jacksonville Chapel in Lincoln Park. She volunteered all of her spare time to the church, including becoming a Sunday and Bible school teacher, as well as a treasurer. She was also a great cook; her family will especially miss her famous rice pudding and raisin ham sauce. She also enjoyed collecting Hummels and Swarvoski crystals. Above anything else, Jane was an extraordinary wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be forever treasured in our hearts and souls.

Predeceased by her siblings, Ester Howell, Jack Howell, Mary Jean Klusterhoff, Robert "Mickey" Howell, and Forrest Howell, left to keep her legacy alive is her beloved husband of 64 years, Robert Roy Corley, Sr.; her loving sons, Robert Roy Corley, Jr. and his wife Donna and Richard Paul Corley and his wife Mary; her cherished grandchildren, Michael Corley, Shawn Corley and his wife Danielle, Kevin Corley, John Corley, Matthew Corley, Mary Ann Bush and her husband Ryan, Richard Corley Jr. and his wife Jamie, and Kristen Williams and her husband Robin; her adored great-grandchildren, Jessica, Jackson, Logan, Joseph, and Corbin; her treasured siblings, Dorry Wollstein, Joan Wells, Bill Howell and his wife Jackie, Ruth Cook and her husband Jack, Ken Howell and his wife Nancy; and numerous special nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
