Marilyn gives the true meaning to the word "LADY".
She came into our family through her sister Eileen. Many happy memories rom family picnics, holiday meals, but most of all the pool times.
She had health issues the last few years. Many other up and downs Marilyn stayed strong through all of it also with a beautiful smile.
She loved her sons and adored Julia and Olivia. Welcomed Janice and Karo into her life loving them as much.
She is now at peace. With all in her family that has gone before her.

We went to school together from kindergarten to graduation. My thoughts and prayers are with you always, Marilyn. Thoughts and prayers are with her family at this difficult time.

We will remember Marilyn as one of the sweetest and nicest Woman we've met. Always had a smile on her face no matter what adversities she was facing. Her love and devotion to her family was surely passed down to her sons that are a testament to her. No one was more proud of her sons than she! Marilyn lives on in her sons and granddaughters and everyone she touched. What a perfect angel she will make!

There are times in life when someone crosses your path from a distance and leaves a lasting impression. For the past 11 years I have been blessed with being a neighbor of Marilyn Anderson.
Marilyn was a genuine homemaker with a love of expressing the true meaning of "home". Her daily routine to observe on occasion from a neighborly distance was heartwarming beyond what I can truly express. Somewhat similar to a ticking clock that always kept the correct time. A clock that never ran fast -- never ran slow -- but kept a constant comforting rhythm.
When I saw her doing little things around her house such as simply placing her seasonal wreaths on her front door at just the right time, or putting out a simple single basket of flowers in the spring, summer, and fall, it was consistently never over done or too much to go beyond sending an unconscious message to those around her -- "live life simply as less is truly more".
She brought a warm feeling to my heart. A feeling of "Mayberry" in a way... memories to me of a time and era which has regrettably slipped by us all.
Her warm presence in our little corner of the neighborhood was truly comforting and will truly be missed by both my husband Robert and me.
May her dear sweet heart rest in peace and her living room light continue to shine brightly for us all.
With admiration,
Connie Weiss

Marilyn was soft spoken and warm and a True Lady. She was taken way to soon from her loving family and her wide circle of friends. May she rest in peace.

"Mar'" was probably the sweetest woman I have ever met. She passed that kindness and sense of humor onto her 2 boys who I now happily call my friends and not just former students. May your faith strengthen you and the rest of the family. Watch for blinking lights, pennies, and coincidences that may not be coincidences ;) Love you all. Toep
