Wendy L. Jerger (Lecher) passed away at home in Lake Hopatcong, NJ on December 30, 2013, at the age of 55.
Born in Denville, she grew up in Rockaway and lived in Lake Hopatcong for the past 27 years.
A graduate of Morris Hills, she also attended County College of Morris and worked as an office manager for many years.
Wendy enjoyed spending time with her family and watching the NY Giants. She especially loved animals and was involved in several animal rescue groups. She had several Japanese Chins whom she cherished.
She was predeceased by her dear husband of 28 years, Stephen J. Jerger in 2007 and by her father, Volker Scherle.
Wendy is survived by her loving daughters Amy Troxell (Michael) of Budd Lake, NJ and Melissa Jerger of NC. Her mother Marcia Scherle, her sister Jodi Kobylka (Andrew) of Rockaway, NJ, her grandson, Gavin Troxell, grandmother Joan Cannon and nephews Scott & Jason Kobylka also survive her.
A memorial visitation will be held January 10, from 7-9PM with a memorial service starting at 8PM at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville.
