Obituary of Margaret E. Bauer

Margaret E. Bauer passed away peacefully at the age of 102 on Monday, January 30, 2017 at Merry Heart of Boonton.
Daughter of the late Philip Woolverton and Elizabeth Murray, Margaret was one of seven children. She was born and raised in New York and upon reitrement she married Dr.Herman Bauer and moved to Pawling, NY. They were married for 28 years before he predeceased her in June of 2000. In 2006, Margaret relocated to NJ and lived at St. Francis Residential Community for several years, before moving to Merry Heart of Boonton.
Margaret was a devout Catholic, attending Mass daily. She enjoyed vacationing in Cape Cod with her family. Amongst her hobbies, she liked decorating and reading the newspaper daily.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Michele Lupinski and her husband Joseph of Rockaway, Mark Maksimik and his wife Adele of Georgia, John Philip Marino of Florida, and many other extended family and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, Feb. 2nd at 9:30 am at St. Francis Chapel, Our Lady of Sorrows Convent, 9 Pocono Rd., Denville, with a Public Visitation prior to the Mass beginning at 8:30 am. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven, Hawthorne, NY. Memorial Donations in her memory can be made to St. Francis Breadline by way of www.inmemoryof-memorial.org.
