Obituary of Doris Katheryn Milos

Doris Milos, 90, passed away peacefully at home, on January 2nd, with her loving family by her side. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 6th, at St. Mary’s Church at 10:30 am. Interment to follow at Denville Cemetery. Friends and relatives may visit on Sunday, January 5th from 2-5 pm at the Norman Dean Home For Services, 16 Righter Ave., Denville. To light a candle, please go to www.normandean.com Born in New York, to the late Henry and Mary Schmidt, Doris was one of two children. After her schooling she met and later married Gabriel Milos. The couple settled in Denville in 1955, where they raised their family. Doris was a wonderful mother and homemaker. She enjoyed playing cards in her Ladies Card Club. They have been together many decades! Doris worked several years at David’s Maternity and Uniform Store which was on Broadway. Predeceased by her husband Gabriel and her brother Walter; she is survived by her children Robert (Sharon), Patricia Selland (Frank Petrozzino) and Marianne Lynch (Michael); her grandchildren Megan Valerio, Sean Milos and Britt Selland; her great grandchildren Aaron & Aidan Milos and Christopher Valerio; sister in law Betty Schmidt; canine companion Maiya; and many more loving relatives and friends.
