Dear Dan, Mark, Patty, Michelle, and Katie - I am so sorry about the passing of your beloved mother and grand-mother. I met Maryann many years ago when Dan invited me and a few others to your home for a feast - was it Thanksgiving or just a Sunday dinner -- I can't remember. We were on a break from college and, boy, what a feast it was. Not only was the food wonderful, it was a great time spent with people who loved each other and Maryann set the tone. Her kindness and love of you all, and desire to have fun, was certainly on display during the celebration of her 80th birthday. She was so lively and so appreciative of everything you did to celebrate her day. I am so glad I was there to hear the stories and share your memories.
I know no words can ever ease the pain of losing a mother and grand-mother. You are all in my thoughts as you go through mourning the loss of Maryann. May she forever rest in peace as she is reunited with her childhood love, Jesse, her son Mark, her other son, David, her mother and all of the family pets.
