Obituary of Joan Ann Zeleny

Joan A Zeleny, 73, died on Sunday Dec. 8, 2013 at St. Clare’s Hospital in Denville, NJ.
She was born in New York City and moved to Rockaway in 1970.
Joan and her husband were active members at St. Clement Pope and Martyr Church where they worked in the food pantry and she taught CCD.
Her husband Robert died in 2006 and her son Steven died in 2011.
She is survived by her children Bob and Debbie Zeleny of Denville, Judy and John Searfoss of Rockaway and Charlie and Kristen Zeleny of Maplewood, NJ. She is also survived by her grandchildren Dana and Kevin Mulligan, R.J. Zeleny, Tommy, Helaina, Kevin and Ian Searfoss, as well as her sister Marlene Magaraci of CO.
Friends may visit with the family on Wed. Dec. 11, 2013 at the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave. Denville, NJ www.normandean.com, from 7 – 9 PM.

There will be a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial Service on Thursday Dec. 12, 2013 at
11:00 AM at St. Clement Pope and Martyr Church in Rockaway Twp. NJ.
