Robin, Jake, Michele, Jakey & Jacque~
You are in my thoughts and prayers. Momma was a special woman who loved you all so much and was proud of each of you.
Friends are the pillars on your porch. Sometimes they hold you up, sometimes they lean on you, and sometimes it’s just enough to know that they are standing by. Our families have been these pillars to each other for many years ~ remember you've got a friend!

To know "Joyce" Lazar was not only a treat, but an adventure. For the 3 decades I have had the privilege of knowing the Lazar family I will never forget the times she told my children of her experiences as a little girl and even allowed herself to be interviewed for a class assignment..she was never short for words. Although she was a friend of my mother, I considered her a friend as well. She was fair, loving and friendly but God help you if you crossed her!
Her beautiful accent and pronunciation of certain words were usually a source of fun for Robin, Michelle and a few of us close to you both, but it was always in a loving good-natured way. When speaking of her daughters or grandchildren her whole face would light up and they were her life and love. She also adored her pets and her flowers. Her and I would compare notes about collies and she gave me good advice in regard to up-keep and maintenance.
The world has lost an angel and I know she is with her loving Hugh and keeping company with my own mom and dad. My heart is with Robin and Michelle, but know that a piece of your mom is with you both as well as Jake, Dr.J and Jacque. She made the world an interesting place and I feel blessed to have been in her company. I love you all, my condolences and prayers to both Rrrrrobin and Meeshell!!!!
