Obituary of Albin Zator
Please share a memory of Albin to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Albin Zator, of Rockaway, passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at Morristown Medical Center. He was 70 years young.
Born in Germany, Albin spent majority of his life in Jersey City. It was there that he met his soulmate, Linda, and they started their family. They moved to the White Meadow Lake section of Rockaway in 1981. He was a member of St. Cecilia's RC Church in Rockaway. Albin was an extremely hard worker with an amazing work ethic. He achieved many things in life because of this. He always made sure his family was taken care of; they were the first priority in his life. They had a home in Beach Haven West and a motorboat name Loose Change. Albin was a builder at heart. He was always building something, working on cars, or his motorcycle. He will remain in our hearts forever.
Left to keep his legacy alive is his beloved wife of 49 years, Linda; his loving children, Lynette Zator and Lisa Kilka and her husband Gregory of Mt. Olive; his cherished grandchildren, Mason and Ava; his caring siblings, the late Leon Zator, John Zator (Paula), Halina Visaggi (the late John), Stanley Zator (Irene), and Mary Mann (James); a very special pup, Queenie; and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 15th at 10:00 am at St. Cecilia's RC Church, 70 Church St., Rockaway. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 14th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Ave., Denville. Please leave a condolence for his family.
