Dorothy M. Beebe “Grandma”, of Rockaway, passed away at home on Saturday, April 9, 2016. She was 95 years young.
Dorothy was a very well loved woman in this town. She was dotingly referred to by many as Grandma because of her kind, compassionate, and affectionate maternal instincts. She will forever be remembered in our hearts and souls for the love that she shared with each of us personally. When she was not spending time with family, she cherished playing Bridge with the ladies of Lake Telemark. She was also the past president of the Ladies Auxiliary Lake Telemark Country Club and the trip organizer for the Rockaway Township Senior Citizens Northern District. For two years, she lived in Europe with her family and she enjoyed every minute of it.
Wife of the late Edward S. Beebe for 55 years, her legacy will live on in her adored children, David L. Beebe of Hamilton and Cindy L. Parks and her husband Bert of Rockaway; her precious grandchildren, Heather S. Mabie and her husband Wayne, Lisa C. Beebe, David L. Beebe and his wife Christina, and Robert E. Parks; and her beloved great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 16th at 10:00 am at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 508 Green Pond Rd., Rockaway, NJ. Burial Services are private. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 15th from 2-4 & 7-9 at Norman Dean Home for Services, Denville. Please leave a condolence for her family.
