I wanted to express my condolences for your loss. I'm reaching out to you to share a thought from the bible that has given me great comfort. It says, "And he (God) will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." (Revelation 21:4)
I hope this passage brings you a measure of peace during your difficult time.

To the Somerville and Yerkes Family:
It has been a long time (close to 50 years) since I last saw Richard, But I have some fond memories of our childhood together. Our family spent a lot of time at the Somerville's. Dick (what we all called him) was always a kind, thoughtful person.
My thoughts and prayers are with the Somerville and the Yerkes Family.
May God give you peace in this very difficult time.

I was truely saddened to hear of Richard's passing. I hope that in time his family and frined's grief lessens and their hearts are only full with good memeories. Richard and I served on the Council in Lincoln Park together, he always presented himself as a gentleman and showed compassion to all.I consider him a friend. may he rest in pece.

In our eyes, Richard was always a gentleman and a scholar. We especially enjoyed his company when he and Betty visited us in Reno several years ago. Our sympathy and love to the Yerkes Family at this sad time.
