I am so sorry to hear of Connor's passing ; while I did not know Connor personally, I came to know him through my mutual cousins, Kim & Janice Kean, & his photography . I admire both him as a person, from what Janice and Kim have told me about him, and his stunning pictures! Connor was truly gifted & rare a young man,,& clearly as wonderful & loved as his art! My sister & I have ourselves lost our mother Claire, on December 1st, so we understand your grief for Connor , losing such a dear family member! I live in the Denville area and heard about your tragic loss. I wanted to offer my condolences and share a scripture that has been very comforting to me which says, "He (God) will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. My deepest and sincerest sympathies. I am a friend of MacKay Eyster who attends UMASS Amherst with Conner. In January of 2015 my 19 year old Son, Noah, was tragically killed in a hiking accident and was lost to us much too soon. Mackay went to high school with Noah.

Connor was the first person outside of my family who I feel truly cared for me. No matter what he was always smiling. Whenever I passed him in the hallway he would smile and greet me with "hey sarbear!" And put his hand up for a high five. If he ever missed me, I could always count on hearing a call from behind, turn and see his goofy grin, waving me down, just to say hello. He is such a beautiful soul and I am truly blessed to have known him for the time he was with us. I'm so deeply sorry for your loss. You have the Rockaway, and Denville communities behind you. Your son, brother, grandson, whomever he was to you, made an enormous impact on an enormous amount of people. I lit a candle for him at the Holy Face Monastery this morning in Clifton.

He left such a great impact on so many. Bringing people together during his lifetime and after, Connor made you feel welcome and friendship was instantaneous upon meeting him. Thanks to the Cummings family for giving us a true friend and genuine person. You are all in my thoughts.

I was a freshman in high school while he was a senior and although I didn't know him personally, the loss of a former knolls head is always devastating. He passed doing what he loved. RIP Connor
