Frances Josephine "Jo" Campbell, 93, died of a massive stroke on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 in Tempe, AZ.
She was born in Dover, NJ and lived in Mt. Tabor section of Parsippany her whole life.
Jo and her family have been very active in the Mt. Tabor Community throughout their lives. Besides being the Postal Clerk at the Mt. Tabor Post Office for over twenty years retiring in 1989, she was a member of the Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church as well as being involved in the Garden Club, took classes in order to be an official judge at flower shows, and was a member of the Historical Societies of both Dover and Mt. Tabor . She was the first woman to be a member of the Governing Board of Mount Tabor and remained active in that capacity for many years.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday Dec. 30, 2015 at 10:00AM at the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ.
Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday from 4 to 7 PM.
Donations are being accepted in her name at the Salvation Army, P.O. Box 895, Dover, NJ 07802-0895.
