Obituary of Joseph Alexander Kelly

Joseph A. “Joey” Kelly, 25, died at his home in Lake Hopatcong, NJ, on Wednesday November 20, 2013.
Joey grew up in Rockaway, attending St. Cecilia's grammar school, he attended Unity Charter School in Morristown where he graduated the eighth grade, and then Morris Hills H.S.
He graduated from VoTech in Denville in 2006 with a mastery in carpentry.
He worked as a waiter in several restaurants in the area.
He loved to work with his hands and he loved carpentry, while in high school he attended Morris County Vo-Tech for carpentry. Joseph also loved to act and enjoyed comedy, he spent a lot of time listening to music and was a wiz at Jeopardy, often beating his father at the question. He was extremly bright and his sisters could not believe how smart he was.
He is survived by his Mother Toni Kelly of Newark, his father Robert F. Kelly of Lake Hopatcong, and his eight siblings and their spouses; Dawn and Greg Sweeney of Rockaway, James and Joy Condit of Euless, Texas, Chris Condit of Arlington, Texas, Michelle Kelly of Rockaway, Kimberly and Stephen Fischer of Hopatcong, Crystal and Peter Skei of Andover, and his twin brother and sister Mateo and Maria Kelly of Newark, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave. Denville, NJ on Monday November 25, 2013 at 8:30 AM for a 9:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Cecilia’s Church in Rockaway, NJ. Family and friends will be visiting on Sunday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
