I can't tell you how shocked I was when I heard the news. Kristen worked for me in the Gulf - she always used to introduce me as "her boss" long after I ceased being that - we had become true friends. Kristen stayed with me in Dubai and we had great times - and her and TJ welcomed me into their homes both in Bahrain and NY --- TJ, my heart goes out to you.
Kristen will never be forgotten by anyone who knew here - to know her was to love her.
Barbara Saunders.

The Ritters
I first met Kristen in Bahrain. Everyone talked about how the Ritters made their villa home to everyone. My first encounter with her and T.J.was truly something out of a love story. They were like modern day Gatsby's. They through elaborate parties and made everyone they knew feel like the most important person in the room. Kristen made my time in Bahrain magical. She knew all the right people and all the right places. I'll never forget the time we had and am so happy to have called her my friend. God bless.

I knew Kristen for about 5 months. We bonded so quickly, and had so much fun together. Kristen was a pleasure to be around, and could speak openly, without vice, and with great hope. I admired her so much. I am so sorry for you, her family, to have to go through this. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I met Kristen when she joined Aetna's communications team. She brought a great energy and passion to her work. I liked that Kristen sought out ways to connect with people and was ready to help someone problem solve when they had an issue. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family, friends and colleagues she's touch over her career.
She will be missed but not forgotten.

My deepest condolences to Kristen's family and friends. I had the great pleasure of knowing and working with her through her involvement with Special Olympics, which brought her great joy. But more importantly, in a relatively short amount of time, she made a profound impact on Special Olympics and countless athletes through her passion, selfless and committed service, leadership and compassion. She will not only missed all of us fortunate enough to have known her, but by countless others who might not have ever known her, but benefited from her humanity and service to others.

I remember all of us in Regina Coeli and how being a part of that community has made us all like family. We all get older and our lives change but I've always respected your family because you all reminded me of my family: caring, loving, funny and a little bit crazy. I watched from Facebook and always wished you all the best.
This tragedy has broken my heart and I truly have no words. I know things will never be the same but in this short time I've learned that Kristen touched so many lives and that tells me that her spirit will shine and be with you always.
You have all my thoughts and prayers!
Eric Buther

TJ and Family,
I worked with Kristen at DVC in the early 2000's. I remember her positive attitude, kindness and endless energy the most from those days. She was a bright light who surely now gives light to the stars. May you find comfort in all those who surround you and lift you up and who cared so much for Kristen.
With deepest sympathies,

I was shocked and deeply saddened when I heard of Kristen's sudden and tragic death, and want to send my condolences to TJ and the rest of her family and loved ones.
Kristen and I worked together for many years at News Corp. She was such a bright star, filled with love, enthusiasm and passion. She did so much good work - in the office and out.
I will miss her very much, and think of her often. What a great loss.
