Obituary of Kenneth E. Day

Kenneth E. Day, passed away suddenly in his home on Monday, September 21, 2015. He was 45 years young.

Kenny was a phenomenal father, incredible husband, and devoted son. His two adored children were his life. He was a hard worker, owning and operating Turbo Carpet Cleaning in Rockaway with his wife, Kathy. When he wasn't spending time with his family, he loved to play golf at the Peace Pipe Country Club. Kenny will always be remembered as the life of the party to his multitude of friends.

His legacy of love, laughter, and genuineness will live on in his beloved wife of 15 years, Kathleen M. (nee Ilavsky); his treasured children, Joe and Nikki; his cherished parents, Joseph and Virginia Day; his loving in-laws, William and Mary Ilavsky and Steve and PJ Korwin; his caring brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws; many nieces and nephews; and two very special puppies, Smush and Nyx. Kenny is predeceased by his brother, Joseph Day.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 26th at 11:00 am at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, NJ 07834. Cremation will be private. Family and Friends may visit at the Funeral Home on Friday, September 25th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations are being excepted to Kathleen Day for their childrens educational fund, c/o Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ 07834.
