Dear Susie & Gayle,
So many fond memories of Mrs. Pitman. It might be odd, but even as an adult I wouldn't dare use be too familiar with someone whom I'm pretty certain changed a diaper or two of mine! She was a wonderful, strong, caring, beautiful woman, and despite the decades and distance, it was always a comfort to know that she was still watching over me. Indeed, I'm certain she still is.

Susannah, I always loved having your mother as a customer, Sally always knew the right way to do things and always selected her purchase with incredible good taste. Dear Gayle & Susie,
We were so saddened to learn of your mother's passing, and we send our sincere condolences to the Pitman and Stangio families at this most difficult time. Sally was a remarkable woman, wife, mother and friend, and we have such wonderful memories of your family growing up in Denville. Sally will be greatly missed. Sally was always so welcoming whether in the old neighborhood or the new. So proud of her home and her family. Always a beautiful smile and an infectious laugh. I never had the privilege of meeting Sally in person. But our friendship evolved into a deep and caring friendship on Facebook in the past few years. She was a lovely person, inside and out. She was an inspiration to all her friends as she dealt with her cancer with wit, grace and charm. I am going to miss her greatly, but I know that she is at peace at last.
