  Rose L. Bothner, nee Fierro, 93, passed away at the Franciscan Oaks Health Care Center, Denville, NJ on Tuesday November 12, 2013.   Rose was born in Newark, NJ and was a long time resident of Denville. She was employed for 25 years as an Assembly worker at the Industrial Timer Corporation located in Newark. Rose enjoyed her membership and the members of the Denville Senior Citizen Club immensely, serving two terms as their club’s president. Rose was very active in the Silver Brigade and participated in events for the Joey Bella Memorial Fund and has been a senior liaison to the Morris Council of Older Persons Organization advocating property tax reform for seniors. On May 22, 2003 Denville Mayor Gene F. Feyl proclaimed Rose a “Living Treasure” of Morris County stating, “A title well deserved. We thank Rose for her love of community and her fellow citizens.”   Rose was predeceased by her husband’s William Belcaro and Charles Bothner.   Rose is survived by her sister Antoinette Zanca, her son Leonard Belcaro, her daughter Gracie Ann Predmore, and her eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.   Relatives and friends will be received at the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ, on Friday November 15th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
