Obituary of Florence Dorothy Gray

Florence Dorothy Gray (Walsh) passed away at Merry Heart Nursing Home in Boonton, NJ on August 23, 2015, at the age of 95.
Born and raised in Newark, she had moved to Denville, NJ in 1952 where she raised her family.
She was a member of the Indian Lake Community Club “Year Rounder’s” as well as a member of St. Mary’s Church, the Denville Sr. Citizen’s and an avid Mets fan.
Florence worked for many years as a supervisor for RCA in Harrison and then in Rockaway, NJ before retiring.
She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Robert J. Gray in 2003.
Florence is survived by her loving children Judy & her husband Jeff Eckhard of Denville, NJ and Dennis & his wife Mary Jane Gray of Warren, VT. She is also survived by her grandchildren J.D. & Liz Eckhard of Glen Ridge, Alison & Anthony Donde of Denville, Molly Gray of Providence, RI, Dylan Gray of San Juan, Puerto Rico, as well as her great grandchildren McKenna and Gray Eckhard.
Visitation will be held on Thursday August 27, 2015 from 5-8PM at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ 07834. Funeral services will begin at the funeral home at 9am on Friday and then going to St. Mary’s Church in Denville for a 10am Liturgy of Christian Burial Mass. Interment will follow at Denville Cemetery.
