We came across your son Kevin's memorial at the beach in Seaside today as we were leaving the beach. The Mass card with his picture touched me deeply. As the mother of an 18 year old son who is going to college in a few weeks, my heart grieves for you on this first anniversary -- I pray God brings you comfort. I will bring some fresh flowers tomorrow. God bless your family, peace be with you.

Although no words could ever ease the pain of such a tragic loss, I want to express my sincere condolences to the Searfoss family. My daughter was one of Kevin's many friends. Although I only met Kevin briefly at our house a few months ago, I can see by the pain on the faces and grief in the voices of his friends just how much they loved him and how much he meant to them. I'm so very sorry.

We are so sorry and so devastated by Kevin's death. We will always remember him as a funny and smart young man.
And the many voices he used when playing online video gamed - listening to Kevin play online with Sasha was always fun and entertaining, to both watch and listen to both them.

To Tom and the Searfoss family,
I knew Tom in Morris Knolls high school and in seeing this on his Facebook, I just have to express my condolences to you all. What a time a deep sorrow for you. Kevin sounds a lot like Tom from what I read. A sense of humor is always a blessed gift to others. My father died last year, and grieving is so different for everyone. All I can say is I am very sorry for your loss. I will also say there is no time where you have to stop grieving. Hug and love each other. I just can't imagine the pain you feel, but I am so sorry for this tragedy.

Words cant even explain how sorry I am for your loss. Kevin was a fellow classmate of mine and when we all graduated together as a whole during the graduation ceremony he had a smile on his face the whole time. I didn't know Kevin personally but I always saw him smiling in the hallways of Morris knolls. My prayers go out to the family and he will be missed. CLASS of 2015 RIP Kev.
