Obituary of Robert Edward Tettemer

Robert E. Tettemer, 69, died on Tuesday July 7, 2015 in Parsippany, NJ.
Bob was born in Jersey City and soon the family moved to the Indian Lake section of Denville where he had lived his entire life.
He attended Main Street School in Denville and later graduated from Morris Hills High School in Rockaway in 1963.
He had played semi pro football for the Newark Bear's Football Team and he also had coached Denville's youth football team the Denville Blue Angels. One of his greatest loves was bowling and he had bowled on several bowling leagues in the area, and he bowled several perfect games.
Bob loved people and driving so starting a limousine business was a perfect match. He owned and operated Image Limousine of Denville and for the last twenty five years he has transported thousands of people to various locations throughout the metropolitan area.
He is predeceased by his parents Robert and Mildred Healey Tettemer.
He is survived by his children Carrie-Anne and Jim Burroughs and their children Jimmy, Catherine, Joseph and Jeremy of Havelock, NC, Mark and Krista Kanapaux and their children Kai and Kira Kanapaux of Charleston, SC, Robert "JR" and Patricia Tettemer and their children Anthony and Kylee Tettemer of Budd Lake and Jodi Tettemer and her children Destiny, Ayden and Izabella Tettemer of East Stroudsburg, PA.
He is also survived by his good family friend Robbie Stout of Rockaway and his sister Marilyn Schreiner of Denville, and her daughters Lisa Kimelman of Sanford, FLA and Sherri Stelletell of Morris Plains, NJ.
Family and friends may visit with the family on Sat. July 11, 2015 from 2 to 5 PM at the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave. Denville, NJ. Prayer services will be held at 5:00 PM.
