Obituary of Gabriel Corso

Gabriel Corso passed away at his home in Denville, NJ on October 25, 2013. He was 81 years old. Born and raised in Jersey City, he had lived in Middletown for 5 years before moving to Denville, NJ earlier this year. Gabriel served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany where he achieved top awards for marksmanship. He had worked for many years at Standard Brands in Hoboken before becoming a corrections officer in Bergen county where he retired after 25 years. Gabriel was the youngest and last surviving of 16 children. He is survived by his children Diane and her husband Michael Laidlaw of Denville, Tony and his wife Mary Corso of Allendale and Maria and her husband James Pearl of Bayonne, NJ. He is also survived by his loving grandchildren Maggie, Eddie, Julia, Jesse and Adam as well as many nieces and Nephews. He was loved by all and will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held on Sunday October 27, 2013, from 2-4 & 7-9PM at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ 07834.
