She was the daughter of the late Dr. Leroy F. Archbold and Eveline Archbold (nee McMurray) of Paterson, NJ. On June 23, 1945 she married William W. Evans, Jr. and they had had a great life together. They were married for 54 years before he died in 1999. Surviving are their five children and their spouses: Bill (Chantal); Roy (Elizabeth); Doug (Julia); Debbie (Ed); Cliff (Laurie). She will be greatly missed by her nine grandchildren and their spouses: Lelenia (Chris); William; Justin (Justine); Josh (Meg); Eli; David (Lauren); Katie Marie; Tyler and Charlotte. One grandson, Christopher Evans predeceased her. She is also survived by six great grandchildren: Sebastian, Christopher, Isabelle, Henry, Noah, and Zoe. The family will hold a private memorial service. In lieu of flowers donations to the Joey Bella Memorial Fund, Inc., 15 Myers Avenue, Denville, NJ 07834 will be appreciated by the family.
