Amy, please know how blessed and special you were to your mother!! She has certainly raised a wonderfully compassionate daughter who loves beyond all measures. I am so sorry for your loss. May great and fond memories of her bring you great comfort and may you always feel the warmth of God's loving embrace at times when you feel most sorrow and loneliness. God Bless you and your family..Peggy

Jean, we talked, we gossiped. We commiserated about our aches and pains. But through it all we did it with lots of joking and laughing, especially over the phone. I will miss our hours of long phone calls. I love you Jean. Rest easy in gods arms. Julia Ghigliotty.

Dear Friend, Little did I know that in August 2006 after undergoing a knee replacement that I was about to experience a phenomenen and her name was Jean Gallagher. As they were transferring me into my room at the MMH Rehab, a resounding "Welcome" was heard and I looked around to see my future roommate all smiles and shining eyes. Yes, we were in for a party for 2 weeks and a wonderful friendship. We shared our love for our families and events, some serious talk but always laughter. We were soul sisters. You were a delight to be with and I love you friend. God bless. Keep in touch.

Your cheerful greeting every time we saw each other, along with your joyful persona, became one of the many reasons we loved our times together 'on the Point' ... most importantly, you made us feel like family. Until we see you again, and we will, may you Rest in the Peace of our Risen Lord & Saviour. -- Bill & Maryann O'Connor

Aunt Jean taught me how to play hearts and shoot the moon. Memories include artichoke chicken, helping me learn the family dynamics, stories of waterskiing at Blue Water Manor, naming the Tiki Bar the Blue Heron, always a big hug when we met and left, trips to Colorado, crossword puzzles. I am glad I was able to spend the last few days with you and cook you breakfast. I will miss you.

I think of Aunt Jean's fantastic cooking, her love of Lake George, gardening, playing games, doing the crossword puzzle, shopping at the Christmas Tree Shop, watching Mash reruns, and listening to her tell stories. She will be missed more than she could ever imagine. I hope you are waterskiing right now Aunt Jean (slaloming of course) and Dad's driving the boat.
