Madelyn N. Peer (Farrand) passed away at Regency Grand Nursing Home in Dover, NJ
on May 21, 2012.
She was 91 years old.
Born in Bloomingdale, she had lived in Denville, NJ for the last 77 years.
She had worked at the Grand Union grocery store in Denville for 16 years before retiring in 1985. She was an avid reader and was an active member of the Parsippany West Senior Citizens group.
Madelyn was predeceased by her husband Herbert Peer in 2002 and by her son Gary Peer in 1981.
She is survived by her son David Peer of Denville, and her sister Dorothy Gardner of Morristown, NJ. She is also survived by her nieces & nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday May 25, 2012 at 11AM at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ 07834. Friends may visit prior to the service from 9AM to 11AM.
