Phoebe A. Grant, 85, passed away on Thursday May 17, 2012.
Phoebe was born in Manhattan, NY and was a longtime resident of Parsippany, NJ. Phoebe was a Bookkeeper for 7 years at the R.M. Stephens Co. in Manhattan, retiring to raise her family. She was a member of the United Methodist Church at Mt. Tabor and a member of the Chancel Choir. She was also a volunteer for the Parsippany Child Day Care Center.
Phoebe was predeceased by her husband Donald M. Grant in 1994.
Phoebe is survived by her three daughters and one son, Alice J. Grant, Amy S. Grant, Donald F. Grant and his wife Janine, and Adrienne P. Anzalone and her husband Ron, her grandchildren, Sarah, RJ, Michael, Raymond, and Kyle and her great-granddaughter, Jeannie, and her sister Phyllis J. Wylie.
Phoebe’s funeral will be held at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ www.normandean.com, (please light a candle in memory of Phoebe on website), on Thursday May 24th at 11am. Relatives and friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday May 23rd from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Donations in Phoebe’s memory to the United Methodist Church at Mt. Tabor would be appreciated.
