Joan J Myers, 76, passed away on Tuesday May 8, 2012 at Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown, NJ
Mrs. Myers was born in Bronx, NY, before moving to Denville, NJ in 1965. She was a resident of Denville, NJ for over 42 years. She was a customer service representative at the Denville Pharmacy for more than 25 years.
Joan’s hobbies included needlepoint, crocheting, and shopping. She loved to go out to dinner with her coworkers and friends and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Joan was predeceased by her beloved husband Frank Myers in 1983 , son Lawrence Myers in 2002, and her sister Elvira Cavanaugh in 2003.
She is survived by her daughter Donna Kenneybrook and husband Charles Kenneybrook of Hopatcong, as well as her three grandchildren Danielle Tyther and her husband Keith , C.W. Kennybrook and his wife Jenn, Amanda Kenneybrook, and two great grandchildren Steven Tyther and Christopher Tyther, her niece Ellie Goldsworthy and her husband Henry and nephew Charles Cavanaugh Jr.
A memorial service will be held at her granddaughter’s home on Thursday May 10, 2012 starting at 3 pm.
