It was a pleasure and an honor to have known Arlene for the past 20 years. She will be missed by her dear friends, one of them being my father, Alan Markowitz. She was an amazing person with an enthusiasm for life. Our thoughts and prayers are with Roy and her family during this difficult time. We are so very sorry for their loss.

I'm so honored that I had the chance to meet Arlene, she was an exceptional woman. Her daugther Lisa has become a dear friend of mine and I'm thankful to have her in my life...Thanks Arlene for raising such a wonderful woman.

I was fortunate enough to meet Arlene on some of her trips to visit Lisa in Seattle. Like many who met her, I felt instantly comfortable with her and was so sad to hear the news of her sudden departure. I will hold you all in my heart and thoughts during this difficult time.

I knew Arlene best through her amazing daughter Lisa. Their close relationship and friendship was such an inspiration to me. Arlene was so warm and kind and I'm grateful to be able to keep knowing her through Lisa. Loving thoughts forever.
