Kevin E Kavanagh, 92, of Pompton Plains NJ, formerly of Douglaston, NY joined is beloved wife Mary Jane (O'Neill) on April 10.
Father of Michael (Joanne), Maureen Finke (Henry), and the late Kevin J. Grandfather of Steven (Coleen), Douglas, Kristina Tromp (George-Dimar), and Elizabeth. Earned his Bachelor's Ph.D.and Law degrees from Fordham University. Retired patent attorney for Texaco Corp. Past president of Fordham College Alumni Association, Douglaston Yacht Club. Active fundraiser for Douglaston-Little Neck Community Chest and St. Anastasia Church.
Relatives and friends will be received at the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ www.normandean.com, (please light a candle in memory of Kevin on website), on Friday April 13th from 7-9pm. All are invited to attend a11am Mass of Christian Burial service at St. Simon the Apostle Church Green Pond Rd, Rockaway Twp. NJ. Interment services at the St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Hackensack, NJ
