Back in the day, since we almost shared "birth-days", I looked forward to meeting up with Thomas at the Denville Carnival on Fireworks night and having a "birthday beer" to celebrate. Rest in peace . . Thomas. My heart goes out to your family.

Thomas, I'm so glad we got to see you before you passed. We really didn't see each other a lot, but the times we did get together with all the cousins, we had a great time. It should have been more often. You will be missed. Say hello to everyone up there. Love your cousin, Maryann

God saw you were getting tired
and a cure was not meant to be.
So he put his arms around you
and whispered,"Come with me."
With tearful eyes we watched you as we saw you pass away.
Although we loved you deeply,
we could not make you stay.
Your golden heart stopped beating, hard-working hands at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us, he only takes the best.

I remember when you stayed with us. You were my moms bestfriend. I would always remember when you would come over. My sister says you would always jokingly boss us around and I thankyou for that. Tom, you will always be a big part of my life. You will always be a second father to me and never will a day pass that I will not thank God for having the privilege to know you. Ducky...I'm home...oh how I wish I could wake you just one more time with that obnoxious middle of the night greeting. You were not only my best friend, but also the brother I never had and desperately needed. You were always there for me. Your arms strong enough to lift me up, yet your shoulders soft enough to cry on. I cannot imagine my life without you in it. Over the years our relationship has spanned from friend, roommate, brother, disciplinarian (lord knows I needed it), and body guard (thank you!). You were always there for me. I can only hope that you felt the same way. As time went on our lives evolved and with circumstances being we did not see each other as much as in the old days, but I always thought of you as my best friend. The person in my life that I could always count on. We shared years of laughter and years of tears... but through it all we always shared. That is the definition of a best friend and believe me Tom you were the BEST. I am so happy that you found the love of your life in Liz and got to enjoy the time you spent with her. My heart goes out to Liz and your family at this time of your passing. You were a very special person that not many of us are lucky enough to have come into our lives.
