Salvatore Pensa, 89, of Rockaway, passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville, NJ. Born October 18, 1922 in Italy, he was the son of Francesco and Antoinette Pensa. He held a PhD in Chemical Engineering and retired from Pantasote in Clifton.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Grace Anzano in 1989.
Salvatore is survived by his children, Frank (Maureen) Pensa of Long Valley, Karen (John) Renken of Denville, and Wendy (Jim) Perry of Hardwick; and grandchildren, Cory, Eric, Alyssa, Jennifer, and Jesse.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, September 8, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Clement Pope and Martyr Catholic Church, 154 Rockaway Avenue, Rockaway. Please meet at church. Entombment will follow at Locust Hill Cemetery Mausoleum, Dover. Visitation will be held Friday, September 7, from 6-9 pm at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Ave, Denville.
