John W. Dougherty Sr. 76 of Lake Hopatcong NJ passed away on Monday January 23, 2012.
John was born in Brooklyn NY on November 9, 1935 and resided on the lake for over 30 years.
John was an avid woodworker and cabinet maker for most of his life.
John is survived by his children Brenda Henz, Nancy Ritzer, and John Dougherty Jr., as well as his 7 grandchildren, Shane, Michael, Ryan, Ashley, Jacob, Angel and John. John also leaves behind his beloved dog Max.
Relatives and friends are openly invited to attend a memorial service of Friday February 3rd 2012 at 7 pm at St. Mary's Church 85 Conestoga Tr. Sparta NJ.
In lieu of flowers donations are being accepted to the Seeing Eye Foundation of Morristown NJ. 10 Washington Valley Rd. Morristown NJ 07960.
