John B. Zaloom,70, Attorney
John B. Zaloom of Denville, NJ passed away at home on January 18, 2012. The cause of death was kidney failure and pancreatic cancer. He is survived by his wife Karen (nee Klingberg); three daughters, Sara Lipinski and husband Andrew of Kinnelon, NJ; Laura Nasisi and husband Anthony of Ogdensburg, NJ and Kara Aceto and husband Louis of Bound Brook, NJ, and five grandchildren: John, Elaina, Gabriel, Raymond and Luca.
He is also survived by his sister Katherine Santangelo and husband Donato of Barnegat, NJ, and her son Matthew Piatt, his brother-in-law John Klingberg and wife Laurie of Tuxedo, NY, and their children Ashley and Eric.
He is predeceased by his parents James and Marie Zaloom as well as his nephew Justin Piatt.
John graduated from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ in 1963 and Rutgers Law School, Newark NJ in 1966. Following law school, he served as law clerk to the Hon. Gordon H. Brown of the Superior Court of NJ in Paterson, NJ. John had a long career as a corporate attorney in the computer services industry.
He enjoyed working in his flower garden, attending classical music concerts, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He and his wife recently celebrated forty-five years of marriage.
