Manuel R. Gilgorri, 79, died on Tues. Jan. 10, 2012 at St. Clares Hosp. In Dover, NJ.
He was born and raised in Montevideo, Uruguay and came to the United States setteling in Dover, NJ.
He worked for Thatcher Glass in Wharton before working with Hispanic Affairs in Dover, NJ.
He loved to watch or play soccer.
He has been a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Dover, NJ.
His wife Maria L. Gilgorri died on September 14, 2000.
He is survived by his son Ruben, a sister Shirley Lancaster and a brother Jesus Gilgorri all of Dover and a sister Gladys Gonzalez of Wharton.
Funeral services will be held on Friday January 13, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave. Denville, NJ www.normandean.com. Following services he will be buried at Locust Hill Cemetery on North Sussex Street in Dover, NJ.
Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 AM until time of services.
