Frances A. (Luzzi) Montano passed away on January 7, 2012 at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville, NJ. She was 88 years old. Born in Hartford, CT she had lived in East Orange for 40 years before moving to Lake Hopatcong, NJ in 1984. Frances worked as a Ward Secretary for Columbus Hospital in Newark, NJ for 20 years before retiring in 1984. She volunteered for the U.S.O. by singing and playing the piano during WWII. She was predeceased by her husband Carl V. Montano in 2001 and by her brother Joseph Luzzi in 2009. Frances is survived by her children Carla Mahoney of Lake Hopatcong, NJ and Joseph Montano of Stroudsburg, PA. She was the beloved Grandmother of 6 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchild, Her sister Rita Connolly of MA also survives her. Visitation will be held at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ 07834 on Thursday January 12, 2012 from 8:30-9:30AM. A Liturgy of Christian Burial Mass will follow at St. Mary's Church in Denville, NJ. Interment services will follow at Brigadier General William C.
