Obituary of Hildegard M Vellenzer

Hildegard M. Vellenzer, aged 97, died on Monday Dec. 26, 2011 at Franciscan Oaks Health Center in Denville,NJ. She was born in Montabaur, Germany and received her Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Frankfurt. She moved to the US in 1952 and worked for Bell Laboratories at several locations before retiring in 1982. Before moving to Denville in 1994, she lived in Little Silver, NJ. She was an avid bridge player and was active in the American Association of University Women after her retirement. Her husband Hans Lothar Vellenzer died in 1947. She is survived by her son Gary Vellenzer of New York City. A Mass of Christian Burial Service will be held on Monday Jan. 2, 2012 at 10AM at St. Catherine of Siena RC Church in Mt. Lakes, NJ.
