Alvene J. Andrews (Hull) passed away at the NJ Eastern Star Home in Bridgewater, NJ on December 19, 2011.
She was 91 years old.
Born in Newark she had lived in Denville and Tuckerton before moving to Bridgewater, NJ in 2003.
Alvene worked as a Quality Control Inspector at Warner Lambert in Morris Plains, NJ for 20 years before retiring in 1979.
She was a dual member of Eastern Star Chapters 136 of Washington and 54 of Tuckerton, she was past worthy Matron of #136, and received her 50 years pin in 1997.
Alvene was predeceased by her first husband Arthur Weidelt, and her second husband Harry Andrews in 1983. She is also predeceased by her siblings Marjorie Fowler, Genevieve Hill, Duane, and Ward Hull.
She is survived by her children Joyce Dumond of Bethlehem, PA, Patricia Hill of Denville, NJ Joan Canning of Shallotte, NC, Jean Cuccinelli of Haledon, NJ, and David Andrews of Rockledge, FL.
Alvene is also survived by her 13 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren, her sister's Muriel Pfeifer of Bridgewater, NJ Mary Johnson of GA, and her sister in law Ruth Hill of Hope, NJ.
Funeral procession will begin at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Avenue Denville, NJ 07834 at 9AM on Thursday December 22, 2011, going to the Restland Memorial Park Chapel 77 DeForest Ave. East Hanover, NJ 07936 for a 9:30AM funeral service, followed by an interment service with in Restland Memorial Park.
