Santo Gallo Passed away at Morristown Memorial Hospital on November 14, 2011.
He was 80 years old.
Born in Solarino, Seracusa, Sicily he came to the U.S. in 1953 and worked as sea food manager for ShopRite, most recently in West Orange, NJ before retiring in 2009.
Santo is survived by his wife of 48 years, Maria (Gibilisco) Gallo of Rockaway Twp., NJ.
He is also survived by his children Tina & Derrick Schneider of Rockaway Twp., Rosa & Michael Greco of Half Moon Bay, CA, and Linda & Brian Colella of Rockaway Twp., NJ as well as his grandchildren Christina, Derrick, Anthony, Danielle, Joseph and Noah, and his siblings Vincent Gallo of Hackettstown, and Josephina Mussa of West Orange, NJ.
Funeral services will begin at 8:30AM on Saturday November 19, 2011 at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ 07834 for a 9:30AM Liturgy of Christian Burial Mass at St. Clement Pope & Martyr Church in Rockaway Twp. Entombment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union, NJ. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9PM.
